The area is full of art gardens, some more well-known than others. These are art forms which often hold secret messages, based on nature and its laws, music, sounds and colours. They are also shows for children.
Nearby, numerous places of great archaeological, artistic or monumental interest are to be found, such as the “Eremo di Montesiepi” (Montesiepi hermitage) and the “Basilica di San Galgano”.

Practically all the hill towns have maintained their Medieval framework. Not far away from the farm there is the sword in the rock, and other magical places with rare symbols of astrological significance are still coming to light.
Massa Marittima, which overlooks the sea, is an art city resting amongst the Metalliferous Hills and is also of great historical importance. It was a very wealthy and powerful city. Its asymmetrical town square is surprisingly beautiful.
